Current State
-
We are still in the early stages of team development. We have no
plan for developing as a team, and each team member has a different
level of experience with attributes of high-performance teams.
-
Board members currently attend to tactical rather than strategic
matters.
-
Our chapter does not have a budget.
-
No ISPI DFW member is on the ISPI international board.
-
There is no succession plan in place except for the chapter
president.
-
There is no unified sense of strategic direction for the chapter.
-
Very few, if any, local members present at the international
conference.
-
We have no contact with board or committee members ar the national
level.
-
We have a mission statement and chapter by-laws, but they are
outdated.
|
Ideal State
-
All board members are melded into a positive, cohesive team handling
our members’ needs.
-
Tactical teams are effectively executing initiatives in support of
our chapter strategic plan. These teams have board sponsorship and
involvement.
-
Our chapter has a well-managed budget that covers our expenses.
-
Our chapter nominates one or more local chapter members during each
international board nomination period.
-
We have a succession plan in place for all chapter leaders.
-
The strategic direction is clear to board and chapter members.
-
ISPI DFW members regularly participate and present at ISPI
conferences.
-
We have regular contact with ISPI national board and committees.
-
Current corporate governance and documentation.
