Current State

• We have no plan to attract well-known speakers. We solicit these speakers because they do not seek us out.

• Our board members occasionally communicate with other chapter leaders.

• Our current paradigm for a special event is to have a workshop.

• We do not routinely collaborate with the local ASTD chapter.

• ISPI DFW does not have a presence at the international conference.

Ideal State

• We attract and feature nationally-recognized presenters at two or more meetings each year.

• ISPI DFW works with other chapters in our region to host a regional conference each year.

• We present special events each year that are specifically targeted to the needs of DFW-area members.

• We have at least one joint event with ASTD each year.

• ISPI Texas chapters host a hospitality suite and networking event at the international conference.
