Programs

We attempt to plan our program topics up to a year in advance. We seek presenters that are qualified experts in each topic area.

See our calendar for more information on all of our meetings.

Call for Speakers

Performance improvement professionals thrive on continuous improvement of their craft. Sharing our ideas and perspectives with colleagues is vital to our growth, and presenting at ISPI DFW allows you share your research, experiences, challenges, and fresh approaches with fellow professionals from around the DFW metroplex.

Why should you present at ISPI-DFW?

As a presenter, you will interact with an appreciative audience of HPT professionals who will apply your insights to meet their daily challenges. Many professionals have found this speaking experience gratifying and helpful for their own career development. In addition, you will benefit from the networking opportunities available at the meeting during which you present. Our attendees include performance technologists, training directors, human resource managers, instructional technologists, human factors practitioners, and organizational consultants. These people work in a variety of settings including corporations, academic facilities, government, health services, financial services, and other such varied industries.

What topics does ISPI-DFW highlight?

ISPI-DFW's presentations cover a broad array of subject matter to help attendees expand their knowledge of HPT and their ability to use and promote their skills. Our primary interest is in topics that address the various components of the HPT methodology or the numerous performance interventions that we can apply in addition to training. We also consider topics that address the more entrepreneurial aspects of our profession, including important skills such as networking, conflict resolution, consulting and communications, and industry trends.

Should you speak at an ISPI-DFW session? Of course!

We welcome new and seasoned presenters alike, and our roster is open to industry professionals, consultants, academics and students. Our presentations are all about sharing your expertise directly with your peers. With the right amount of preparation, anyone with the appropriate technical or business experience can be an effective and impressive presenter.

Submission Guidelines

Our review process is simple and informal. If you're interested in presenting, email Greg Glaser, the chapter's Programs Director, with:

  • a one or two paragraph description of your presentation, and
  • a one-paragraph professional profile.

Please note: presentations must be educational-sales, product, or marketing presentations will be declined. Speakers are encouraged to prepare and present original material, and must have permission if presenting copywritten material owned by someone other than the presenter.

Presentations must be submitted in English, and should be 45 to 60 minutes long. They may include workshops, case studies, or other interactive components but the total run-time of the presentation should not exceed 75 minutes.

If you have questions, please contact Greg Glaser, the chapter's Programs Director. Send us an email and tell us your ideas and suggestions.
